Independant German Car Specialist
Owen Ferry Automotive is an
independent specialist in the servicing and repairs of BMW, Mercedes,
Audi and Volvo motor cars.A professional and friendly service is offered and the rates charged are highly competitive, our current labour rate is £39 per hour exc VAT.
Owen is a member of the IMI and a Licentiate Automotive engineer with over 30 years experience and extensive maindealer factory training. We have a large customer base (in excess of 500) and our records show over 90% are German or Volvo cars.
In 2008 we invested in the latest Bosch diagnostic equipment and technician training, our other equipment includes Porche system 2 dealer level diagnostics.

- As a member of the Good Garage Scheme you can trust us to
service and repair your car .
- We carry a comprehensive range of
genuine service parts for all German and Volvo cars, and we are now
Castrol agents, which is recommended by BMW, Audi, Volvo, VW and
Mercedes.
- We stock
manufacturer approved PD oil, Long life oil and mobil 1 and are the
only garage in the area to keep stock of 10W60 for the BMW M series.
- We stock the full range of Bosch
wiper
blades and most German specific
fit blades. We also have good stock of popular German
type Bosch batteries
including the larger 017 and 019.
- We carry out servicing on cars
within warranty and out with the
manufacturers warranty, by using genuine parts and approved oil we keep
your
car within the manufacturers warranty. Service lamps are reset and
service books can be stamped as required.
- We are not main agents and do not
carry out manufacturer warranty
repairs. We are independent specialists.
- A courtesy car is available on request for customers booked in
for
servicing and repairs
(by prior arrangement)
- In the event of a breakdown vehicle uplifts by 24/7 Recovery can
be
arranged (local uplifts charged at £45 exc VAT)
- Our vehicle inspection rates vary depending on the vehicle, for
example Porsche/SUV take 2 hours, smaller cars for example a Mercedes
SLK or Audi TT take 1 hour.
- MOT's also arranged, the cost of the MOT and pre-MOT check
including fitment of replacement bulbs etc is £49 exc VAT. for
servicing costs
